In this case study, we will demonstrate how we helped one of our customers overcome a challenging problem by creating a customised solution with a curved conveyor.
THE CHALLENGE
Our customer faced an issue while setting up their toastie production line, which had limited space and uneven heights between the oven and the spiral. Our design team came up with an innovative solution that could perfectly solve the customer's problem.

OUR SOLUTION
Our goal was to move the products away from the oven while lifting them to a higher spiral. However, we encountered a challenge during the design process. The products were too slippery to be raised through the incline with modular conveyor belts.
Our designer decided to split the process into two parts. First, the products were transported away from the oven using an outfeed conveyor equipped with poly cord belts to prevent the toasties from slipping.


Then, they were transferred to a 90-degree curved conveyor, which was attached to a spiral at a higher level than the oven.
We constructed the entire solution using hygienic materials to ensure it met the high hygiene standards required for food production. The design was created meticulously with specific lengths and angles to fit the customer's production environment and machinery layout.
