Position Overview

    We are a leading UK manufacturer of high-tech food processing machinery, working at the cutting edge of automation and innovation. Following significant investment in our in-house laser cutting and fabrication facilities, we're looking for a skilled Press Brake Setter/ Operator to join our growing team.

    You'll be working with advanced equipment, including a Amada 4m Press Brake, in a clean, and well-organised environment.


    Key Responsibilities

      • Operate and set up press brake machines for folding sheet metal according to specifications
      • Selecting correct materials and ensuring quality standards are met
      • Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
      • Conducting basic machine maintenance and upkeep
      • Working alongside a friendly and experienced team in a fast-paced environment


      We’re Looking For:

      • Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter Operator, ideally with Amada machines
      • Confidence with machine setup, material handling, and part inspection
      • A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills
      • The ability to work accurately and efficiently to meet production targets
      • A good understanding of workplace health & safety

      Position Overview

      We are looking for an experienced Accounts Clerk to manage our day-to-day accounting, payroll and finance requirements, ensuring they are accurate and up to date. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This position will be based at our head office in Draycott. The role will require excellent communication to manage supplier contracts, expenses and all day-to-day finance functions.


      Key Responsibilities
      • Manage accounts Payable and accounts receivable functions.
      • Check daily bank transactions
      • Process all invoices.
      • Reconcile bank statements
      • Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
      • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using cloud-based accounting software (Quickbooks)
      • Reconcile Balance sheet accounts.
      • Managing the appropriate approvals for invoices and supplier service contracts.
      • Preparation of monthly management accounts.
      • Preparation and management of payroll submission and payments.
      • Support MD and assist with additional tasks as required.


      Qualifications & Skills 
      • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software, ideally Quickbooks would be advantageous.
      • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
      • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
      • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in order to meet deadlines.
      • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
      • Familiarity with accounting principles, HMRC riles and accrual-based accounting.
      • A friendly proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
      • 5 years working experience in the UK a must

      The Role

      We’re looking for an Electrical Design & PLC Controls Engineer to join our talented mechanical and electrical design team. This is a varied role that combines electrical hardware design with PLC programming, giving you the opportunity to work on both new product development and support for existing machines. You’ll work independently, with minimal supervision, in a fast-paced environment where no two projects are the same.

       

      What You’ll Do

      • Produce detailed electrical designs and documentation using AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar software.
      • Develop single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and control panel layouts.
      • Specify and select electrical equipment in line with project requirements.
      • Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards and regulations.
      • Ensure compliance with functional safety and industry standards.
      • Develop PLC code from customer specifications.
      • Program, test, commission, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI software (using PLCs XG5000 and XP-Builder).
      • Design and configure electrical hardware and control systems to meet project requirements.
      • Ensure rigorous testing of safety-related aspects of PLC and electrical systems.
      • Create HMI interfaces following company standards.
      • Work with software and machine learning engineers to integrate PLCs, HMIs, backend software, and vision systems.
      • Support R&D and ongoing product development.
      • Collaborate with electricians and technicians during production and installation.
      • Liaise with project management, engineering teams, and customers at a technical level.
      • Collaborate with clients and contractors to meet design specifications.
      • Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests).
      • Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.

      About You

      Essential Skills & Experience:

      • 2-3 years' experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
      • Proficiency with CAD software such as Solidworks, AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
      • Electrical design experience — including control panel design, wiring diagrams, and hardware selection.
      • Strong understanding of system integration and UK electrical standards.
      • Experience in supporting installation and commissioning activities.
      • Excellent technical, analytical, and project coordination skills
      • Strong PLC programming skills (Ladder & Structured Text).
      • Full lifecycle PLC software development experience.
      • Excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
      • Able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
      • Experienced working under pressure to meet deadlines.

      Desirable Skills & Experience:

      • A degree in Electrical Engineering or HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
      • Experienced with PLCs, HMIs, and XG5000 software.
      • Programming in C++ or Python.
      • Robotics, control systems, or embedded systems experience.
      • Basic mechanical design knowledge.

      As a CNC Turner/Miller Setter Operator, you’ll produce high-precision components essential to our machinery in a varied, hands-on role where your work directly impacts performance.

      key Responsibilities:

      • ·         Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines (including 3/4-axis mills and CNC lathes such as Haas and Doosan).

        ·         Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances with high levels of accuracy and finish.

        ·         Optimise machining processes to improve efficiency and cycle times.

        ·         Perform first-off and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, bore gauges, height gauges, etc.).

        ·         Ensure parts meet engineering drawings and quality standards through self-inspection.

        ·         Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, including GD&T.

        ·         Select suitable tooling, inserts, and workholding solutions.

        ·         Adjust offsets and programs to maintain machine performance.

        ·         Carry out routine maintenance and basic fault-finding.

        ·         Maintain a clean, organised workspace in line with 5S and safety standards.

        ·         Work collaboratively to meet production targets and deadlines.

        ·         Support continuous improvement initiatives.


      Skills & Experience:

      ·         Minimum 3+ years’ experience in CNC machining within a precision engineering environment (turning and/or milling).

      • ·         Proven ability to set and operate CNC milling machines (3/4-axis) and lathes independently.

        ·         Strong working knowledge of Haas and/or Fanuc control systems.

        ·         Experience machining a variety of materials to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.

        ·         Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.

        ·         Skilled in the use of precision inspection equipment and quality validation processes.

        ·         Strong understanding of cutting parameters, tooling selection, and workholding techniques.

        ·         Competence in editing and troubleshooting CNC programs (G-code/M-code) at the machine.

        ·         A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.


      Desirable Skills:

      ·         Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam) for program optimisation or offline programming.

      ·         Multi-axis machining experience (4/5-axis).

      ·         Background in aerospace, automotive, or other high-specification engineering environments.

      About the Role
