Millitec offers ultrasonic blades in four different sizes, each designed to handle vibrations exceeding 20,000 times per second. These blades are versatile and can cut through even the most challenging products, like salmon, without distorting or tearing them. The size of the blade affects its performance, as smaller blades can reach higher frequencies (kilohertz).

THE PROCESS OF CRAFTING ULTRASONIC BLADES

STEP 01. ROUGHING THE TITANIUM BLANK

The initial step in the manufacturing process involves using a titanium blank. The blank is roughed out twice to reduce and relieve the stress of the metal particles. Also, roughing the blank titanium allows the metal to be prepared at the best quality for the next stage of the manufacturing process.

STEP 02. PRECISION FINISHING & RIGOROUS TESTING

The second stage of blade manufacturing involves finishing and testing each blade. This phase can be the most time-consuming one, as every blade undergoes stringent testing to meet the specified standards. Moreover, each blade is customised to suit a particular machine, ensuring the best cutting technology for the product.

STEP 03. FINE-TUNE & SHARPEN TO PERFECTION

During the third stage of blade production, the blade undergoes fine-tuning and sharpening. Our skilled engineers then conduct additional testing to identify any imperfections. This stage is crucial as it requires each blade to withstand high vibrations or kilohertz. Our engineers pay excellent attention to detail, ensuring each blade is meticulously crafted to resist high vibrations or kilohertz. 

FINAL STEP. UNRIVALLED QUALITY ASSURANCE

The final step in this process involves finishing and conducting additional testing. This step ensures that the blade is refined to the highest standards and is worthy of being sent out to the customer. Once the blade has been authorised and approved, the next step is to laser the serial number and logo onto the metal plate.
