Millitec Media Starz: A Fun-Filled Opportunity for Young Creators to Shine!

That’s why we’re excited to launch Millitec Media Starz, an initiative in collaboration with Erewash Sound that gives young people a chance to shine, be creative, and win up to £1,000 for their school!

What’s Millitec Media Starz All About?

Millitec Media Starz invites year five and year six students to create their very own 15-minute radio show on any topic related to food. Whether they explore the world of culinary creations, talk about sustainable eating, or come up with a fun food quiz, students can let their creativity soar.

Supporting Local Talent

As a business rooted in this community, we believe in giving back and fostering talent. By providing professional guidance and hands-on experience, we hope to inspire the next generation of creative minds. Schools will receive comprehensive online tutorials, and industry experts will visit to help students bring their shows to life, which will then be broadcast on Erewash Sound.

Prizes That Support Creativity:

Overall Winner: The listener's votes will decide which school wins £1,000.
Best Idea: A prize of £500 for the most innovative concept.
Best Performance: Another £500 for the most entertaining performance.

Schools can use the prize money to fund any creative project of their choice, making this competition a fantastic opportunity to support young talent in our community.

Inspired by a Love for Radio
